To think that it works both ways too. If Mexico’s politicians enacted free trade initiatives and more economic freedom, the economy would improve and people wouldn’t leave for the US (as much). But noooo, Mexico’s politicians are all about their own economic tryanny and not economic freedom. It is no wonder that they gain a political boost by saying that their own poor people should leave for the United States. Is it any surpise that Mexico is home to one of the world’s richest men? All because of cell phones? Does the guy even have competition?
