34 year old tapatío Arnulfo Castorena Vélez took the silver in the men’s 50-meter breaststroke at the under-reported paralympic games.

Looking at the results so far, it’s interesting how the United States blends into the pack in the Paraolympic Games – only China is dominating, and equally interesting is how Latin American nations are doing – Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, among others, are all far ahead of the meal count they were at this point in time in the regular Olympics.
