My tax dollars at… work?

12 January 2007

The famous “Texas Border Watch” spy-cam program (amusing on so many levels) only cost us taxpayers $200,000 for its one-month test.

Gosh, it was successful…the El Paso Times, under the Freedom of Information act, got Texas Homeland Security to cough up the 14,800 e-mails they received

Which resulted in nabbing… 10 indocumentados.

”It seems to me that $20,000 per undocumented worker is a lot of money,” said state Rep. Norma Chavez, an El Paso Democrat.

$200,000.00 (not including PR and salaries)…

298,000,000 hits…

14,800 e-mails…

30 day before anyone caught on this was nuts…

10 indocumentados…
PRICELESS!
