Doing the back-stroke across the Rio Grande?

25 May 2008

The anti-immigration crowd likes to kick around the figure that the Border Patrol “catches” only about a quarter of those who cross the U.S. Mexican border without papers.  Mexico apparently doesn’t put the resources it needs into guarding its northern border from gun and currency smugglers, so who knows how many “illegal aliens” come in from the North. And, normally — they don’t really care too much about it.  By some estimates, as many as a million United States and Canadian citizens are illegal aliens in Mexico.

I’d be interested to know what the 2,145 United States citizens who were arrested by immigration authorities in the first two months of 2008 did.

When Mexico leads the way and opens up thier southern border, then America will have no excuse as to why we can not do the same thing. As Libertarian Activist and Bisexual Magician Penn Jillette has shown, the border wall is a stupid idea. Mexico needs a second ammendment and needs to quit trying to keep guns out of Mexico. America needs to remember that Mexican Illegal immigrants are only coming to the US for a better life. How awesome is America when you have people who are willing to risk thier lives to get into the US? Pretty F***ing awesome if you ask me. No Border Wall.

Bush was right the first time, why start pandering to a bunch of racist and retarded anti-free trade rednecks?
