During a too-long stay in San Miguel a few summers ago, I attended a “Warren Hardy” class that played out exactly like this (if you substitute earnestness for snark in the teacher responses). At least half an hour was taken up by the “I know you’re stealing” question. Never a video camera when I need one.
Frank, sounds like you weren’t happy with your class or San Miguel. I was considering Warren Hardy classes there. Would you please send your insites and opinions to my email address? It would be very helpful. I attended classes in both Cuernavaca and Guadalajara and enjoyed them very much.
The Mexfiles has never expected to turn a profit, but personal funds only go so far. Miscellaneous expenses (telephone, internet connection, subscriptions, spyware, hardware repair, etc.) run about 600 pesos (35 US$) a month, and donations are gratefully accepted. Please note that your donations are in Mexican Pesos (18 pesos to the US Dollar as of February 2019). A 25 US$ donation is 450 pesos.
