Shrinking money supply

8 June 2010

With local bus fare now 5.60, I’m carrying a lot more ten centavos these days.  It’s not a lot of money, but it’s my money, and I try to hang on it it — or would if I could find it!

That’s the new 10 centavo in the middle, between the old version and a U.S. ten cent piece.

Oh brother, can you find a dime?

    wow, that’s tiny!

I’m holding a dime (for comparison) as we speak and it’s so small…..wait, damn! Where did that dime go?

Tried to get ANY coins at the HSBC the other day… and not a coin in the whole place. Did they shrink them all down to that size?

I think they’re all being hoarded for the bus fare here 🙂
