According to the U.S. Border Patrol, Ramses Barron Torres, 17, was on the U.S. side of the border fence between Nogales Sonora and Nogales Arizona, chucking rocks at BP agents, when he slipped and fell (on the Mexican side), hitting his head on a rock, and dying.
Which requires a little explaination of why a truck with Arizona plates dumped his body in front of a Nogales Sonora hospital where an autopsy discovered the teen-ager had been killed by a gunshot wound to the back.
Business as usual on the border.

Seems I remember seeing an article on this site about a kid in Juarez, while throwing rocks at BP ‘s, ended up with a terminal hole in his head. What is adolescent machismo worth along the border?
While stationed in Panama during the Vietnam War, we military policemen were often hit with barrages of rocks, bottles and piss-filled condoms thrown by angry and very agressive Panamanians as we stood guard (scared shitless) at post gates. We never fired a shot!
