Send in the drones

Something almost unnoticed in the federal budget here: 5.6 million dollars for drones.
The budget request by the the Navy … Secretaría de Marina (Semar) … also includes maintenance and development. I don’t think there’s anything particularly sinister, given that the drones are for coastal survellance, and justified as a cost-cutting measure, the drones not requiring a flight crew, and using much less fuel than those damn noisy helicopters that fly over my house.

You don’t seriously think these will only be for observation only?
When I initially commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I receive
