The Mexfiles has never expected to turn a profit, but personal funds only go so far. Miscellaneous expenses (telephone, internet connection, subscriptions, spyware, hardware repair, etc.) run about 600 pesos (35 US$) a month, and donations are gratefully accepted. False equivalence.
To what? The present U.S. administration’s policies are simply a logical extension of those of previous U.S. administration policies. Besides, I have never claimed to be fair and balanced in what I chose to post.
So why isn’t Mexico a better place for Central American refugees than the USA? Culturally those folks would be able to fit into Mexican society without so much as a brief pause. Right? They already speak Spanish, are mostly Catholic, and have a better innate understanding of Mexico, which is far more similar to their own countries, than the USA.
Would you support Mexico taking these folks? Does Mexico think Central Americans have a god-given right to live in Mexico? (Sort of like AMLO recently implied that Mexicans have in the USA?)
