    “There will be no more private medical benefits for government employees.” So, this is some sort of merger of ISSTE and either IMSS or Seguro Popular. Great idea, but I can hear the screams of CNTE and similar groups already.

    “The government’s publicity budget will be reduced by 50%.” Another good idea, but I suspect we’ll see some newspapers, magazines, and radio stations going out of business as a result. Unless there’s more advertising from state and local governments to replace it.

    “All duplicated structures and programs will be eliminated.” I wonder if this applies to the Gendarmerie.
