Thanks for that link. I find my interest in it not so much about the Mexican Spanish, but about how the use of English has evolved over the years, and particularly the style of speaking. Granted, I am a senior citizen, and I’m sure that in my teens there were lots of people older than I who did not like my lingo either. Still–I cannot quite get over it all.
